Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 9, 2026

Welcome to the BeatLab application (the "Platform"). The Platform is provided and controlled by BeatLab ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following contents carefully to understand our practices regarding your information. By accessing or using the Platform, services, applications, products, and content (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. For purposes of this Policy, "you" and "your" means you as the user of the Services. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY TERM IN THIS POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT USE OUR SERVICES.

1. What Information We Collect

Information about your use of the Platforms: We may collect information about your interactions on the Platforms, mainly including song and music video (MV) generations, button clicks, page browsing history, prompt history, custom lyrics, audio/video exports, and other settings or inputs provided during your use of our Services.

Media and Custom Assets Uploaded by You: If you choose to generate customized AI music videos or lipsync animations, we may collect and process the performer images, reference templates, and other visual media assets you choose to upload to enable the video generation functions.

Device and log information: To ensure the normal operation, security, and optimization of our Services, we collect system data when you use the app. This includes unique device identifiers, system languages, device models, operating systems, software version numbers, IP addresses, network connection types, network quality, and access log files.

Guest accounts and account identifiers: When you open the app without an active session, BeatLab may automatically create a cloud-backed guest account and assign it a unique account identifier. Content, credits, preferences, and activity associated with guest mode may be stored on our systems under that identifier. You can link a supported third-party login to secure the same account. If an unlinked guest session is lost because you uninstall the app, clear app data, or change devices, we may be unable to restore access to that guest account.

Pseudonymous device identifier: On supported mobile platforms, BeatLab sends the Android device identifier or Apple Identifier for Vendor to our server. The server transforms it using a keyed one-way hash and stores the resulting pseudonymous value rather than the raw identifier. We use this value to verify referral eligibility, prevent duplicate rewards, detect abuse, and protect account and service integrity. We do not use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

Information from Third-Party Login: If you choose to sign up or log in using third-party services (such as Google or Apple), we receive certain authentication tokens, unique user identifiers, email addresses, and profile names provided by those third parties to manage your account and personalize your profile.

Feedback and Support information: When you contact our support channels, we collect the details of your inquiry, any attachments you send, and your contact information (such as your email address) to process your support request.

2. Which Permissions We Might Ask You to Authorize

To provide high-quality and efficient services, we may request authorization for specific terminal device permissions. We collect and use these permissions solely based on minimality criteria and with your consent:

  • Media Library / Album: Used to access your uploaded performer images, and to save or download your generated music tracks, lyrics text, custom cover art, and generated music videos (AI MVs) to your device.
  • Notifications: Used to send push notifications regarding completed song and music video generations, system updates, and account status.
  • Network Status: Used to check your network connectivity to alert you of mobile data usage or offline status.
  • Device identity: BeatLab does not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) for cross-app advertising tracking. The fraud-prevention identifier described in Section 1 is used only for account integrity, referral eligibility, and abuse prevention.

You can revoke these permissions at any time through the system settings of your device. Revoking permissions will stop future data collection for those features but will not affect processing done prior to the revocation.

3. How We Collect Your Information

We collect information directly from you when you submit text prompts, lyrics, performer images, or feedback. We also collect usage data passively using analytics tools, browser cookies, and device logging during your navigation on the Platform.

4. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use your personal data to:

  • Provide, maintain, and optimize our music and video generation Services.
  • Process and generate your music and video requests (your custom text prompts, lyrics, and uploaded images are securely transmitted to third-party AI models to compile your songs and music videos; we advise against including personally identifiable information in your prompts, lyrics, or uploaded images).
  • Maintain account security, detect fraud, scan for illegal content, and protect our infrastructure.
  • Verify referral eligibility and prevent duplicate promotional rewards or free-credit abuse using a pseudonymous device hash.
  • Send important system updates, billing alerts, and changes to our policies.
  • Fulfill legal, regulatory, and corporate auditing obligations.

5. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (like analytics tools and local storage) to identify your session, recall your user preferences, measure our traffic, and continuously improve website stability. You can configure your browser to decline all cookies, but doing so may limit your access to certain functions of the Services.

6. Storage and Retention of Your Information

Storage: The data we collect may be transferred to and stored in cloud-based hosting databases situated in countries outside your own. By using the Services, you consent to this international storage, transfer, and processing.

Retention: We retain account data while your account is active and retain other records only as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, protect the Services from fraud and abuse, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Account deletion: You can delete both guest and linked accounts from Settings in the BeatLab app. When the app confirms that deletion is complete, the current authentication account, active account database record, generated songs, music videos, personas, and associated stored user files are deleted. This action is permanent and the deleted account or its content cannot be restored.

New guest account after deletion: If you continue using BeatLab after deletion, the app may automatically create a new guest account with a new account identifier. This new guest account is separate from the deleted account and does not restore or display the deleted account's content, credits, or profile data. Because the new account is a new use of the Services, a new pseudonymous device hash may be associated with it for the limited anti-abuse purposes described above.

Limited exceptions and backups: We may retain narrowly limited transaction, security, fraud-prevention, or legal records where retention is required or permitted by law. Deleted data may remain temporarily in access-restricted backups until those backups expire under our normal retention schedule, but it is not used to recreate or reactivate a deleted account.

7. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share necessary information with service providers to execute legitimate business operations:

  • Database and authentication providers.
  • Cloud storage and CDN providers hosting media files.
  • Third-party AI music, lyrics, image, and video generation APIs.
  • Subscription management and payment processing platforms.

We will also disclose information if required to do so by law, to enforce our agreements, or in the good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of our users or the public.

8. How We Protect Your Information

We implement appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to secure your personal data from unauthorized access or leakage. All communications with our servers are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) / Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption. While we make every effort to protect your data, no network transmission is 100% secure.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to request access to, correction of, restriction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can permanently delete your account from the BeatLab app under Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account. You may also review our account deletion instructions or contact support@beatlabai.app to request assistance. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription, which must be managed through the applicable store.

10. Minor's/Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for children under 13. Where local law requires a higher minimum age or parental consent, that higher requirement applies. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately to have it removed.

11. Modification of This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this webpage with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Services after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.

12. How to Contact Us
